Cream coloured newspaper with black print. The Guelph Weekly Mercury, January 1, 1914. There is no huge headline but some of the front page stories are :"Eight will hav to be left at home" "Hood and Benallick Moving Today" "Christmas At The Children's Shelter Was A Great Event - Friends Had Given Freely". The paper has a photo of a ploughing scene in late December in Alberta. The paper is six pages (three double sided).

Printed in 1908 for Guelph Home Week and booklet has a programme for the festivities occurring from Sunday to Thursday on pages 6 to 8. On page 54 is an index of the contents of the booklet. Advertising Pamphlet; beige rectangular paper that has been folded in half to form four pages; Black and red print. Cover or front page is a letter from James Steele, Limited, advertising Steele springs as absolutely Canadian... "If you will send us specifications and quantity required, we will gladly quote prices that we believe will interest you." It is dated Mar. 18, 1924. Letterhead: "ESTABLISHED 1885 / JAMES STEELE, LIMITED / MANUFACTURER OF WIRE SPRINGS / GUELPH, ONT. CANADA". In the centre of pamphlet are illustrations of various springs manufactures by James Steele Ltd. On back of pamphlet are images of " UPHOLSTERING SPRINGS" AND "HELICAL SPRINGS".

The two-storey house is very wide and has a front porch that spans nearly the entire width. There is a sidewalk running in front of the house and a dirt road in the foreground (likely Powell Street).
