Front cover title "Norfolk Street Methodist Church Guelph" and the pastor's name is at the bottom in Gothic font along with the name of the recording steward. "Year Book Nineteen Seventeen, Nineteen Eighteen" is printed in the center surround by a double line border on either side and a single line border on top and bottom the top and bottom also have enclosed decorative strips with a repeated detail. The same detail is repeated in a border all the way around the content of the front cover. Back cover is blank. Advertisement for the Art Bell Piano; cream coloured page from a magazine with an advertisement for the Art Bell Piano by the Bell Organ and Piano Co. Limited. The ad came from page forty of the Canadian Magazine Advertiser. The ad has a drawing of the piano with its features listed on both sides of the drawing. Below the drawing is the name of the company and its branches in Toronto, on Yonge Street and in Montreal on St. Catherine St. The entire ad is framed in a border of bells. On the back of the ad are ads for other companies including the Gem lamb wool soles. The Annals of the Town of Guelph book by C. Acton Burrows, printed in 1877. The book has a beige cover with black print. At the top is a purple stamp "Guelph Chamber of Commerce Trafalgar Sq. at Eramosa Rd. Guelph, Ontario" The book is 170 pages in length and contains a history about the founding of Guelph up to 1877. The book also contains ads from local businesses.

The warranty covers style 300 serial # 78430 for 6 years from Dec 29th 1897 for failure. In upper part of certificate is company trademark which includes a drawn image of the Guelph factory.

London Assurance Company Fire Insurance Plan for 1881 revised to 1892. The plan is a hard cover book with a brown cloth cover with leather spine and corners. The book has a paper label on the front cover. On the inside front cover there is another paper label from the insurance company. The book contains twelve pages of maps that cover the downtown area of Guelph. On each page the different colour buildings represent the different building materials used. There are sections of the maps that have been overpasted when it was revised.

Black and white newspaper called "Farming", dated October 12, 1897. The newspaper was published weekly by The Bryant Press in Toronto Canada. On the front of the newspaper there is a picture of D. McCrae from Guelph. There is an article on Lieut. -Col. McCrae within the newspaper, that speaks of his farming abilities, and his encouragement of local farmers to "keep more sheep." Included in the newspaper is advertisements for cows, sheep and entire herds for sale. The newspaper holds short articles on topics such as "sugar beets in the United States" and "Winter Dairying."
