Envelope with hotel letterhead; rectangular white paper envelope with black print and ink. In upper left corner is a black printed picture of hotel with printed text below it: "If not called for in 10 days return to Commercial Hotel, C. Reinhart, Prop. Guelph, Ont". There is an orange three cent postage stamp on the upper right corner with part of a black stamp in which can discern "NO 22". Addressed in handwritten black ink to Mr. Draper Esq., Petrolia, Ont." On the reverse of envelope is stamp which reads "PETROLIA NO 2? /94 / ONT."

Front cover: printed in black and red type with red highlights. Has B/W photograph of the Guelph General Hospital in lower right corner. Binding of booklet done by Frank Nunan's Up-to-date Bindery, Upper Wyndham St. Booklet has many advertisements for many different Guelph businesses in 1907.

A large brown book with maroon spine and tips with a blue label in the centre with black printing. Title reads; "Insurance Plan/of/ Guelph./Ontario./Published by/Chas. E. Goad. Civil Engineer,/Montreal" Stamped at the top and bottom of the label is "F. Grundy". It is also stamped 3 times on the inside cover. There are three pieces of paper here: the first is part of the book, "This plan has been revised to" written in pencil "June 1888 & Nov 1892". Catalogue - "Souvenir Catalogue / First Amalgamated Ontario Provincial Winter Fair / Guelph, Dec. 11 to 14, 1900." Cover is heavy purple paper with printed text in gold lettering. There is a double lined gold border around the outside of the front cover. At the bottom of front cover, the border becomes more elaborate with gold swirls. The review is 31 pages in length. It gives a history of the fair over its years, lists the accolades of the past and gives a brief synopsis on Guelph as a centre of manufacture - see page 27 which lists the companies and product made in Guelph. Menu and Toast List for St. George's Society's Annual Dinner, April 23, 1894. Rectangular off-white card with scalloped edges, folded in half. Card forms a cover for a paper insert that has scalloped edges to match the cover. The off-white paper insert is also folded in half to form a four page booklet. The outside of the paper insert, front and back, has a gold, blue and red printed border at the top and bottom of the page.The cover and the paper insert have three holes at the centerfold and a brown cord is drawn through these holes and tied to bind the booklet together. Has single fold to form a booklet. The front has a sketch of two horses heads with harnesses and bits. Has elaborate border within which is printed: "Guelph Turf Club / Fall Races / Guelph Race Track / September 23 & 24, 1890. / $1050 in prizes. / Geo. Sleeman, Pres. Wm. Bell, Vice. Pres. / J.H.
