Letter to "My Dear Little Stella" from Lincoln Goldie, dated December 27, 1901. Three pages handwritten in black ink on stationary with printed blue letterhead of "Office of the People's Mills," at the top of each page. This is a love letter. Pages are marked 1, 3 and 4. Appears to be missing page 2.

Canada Post Penny Postcard. Pre-printed in blue with one cent blue stamp in upper right corner. Stamped "Waterford JA 6 / 77 and addressed to Mr. Jas. Goldie, Esq., Guelph, Ont." Reverse side, along left side is printed: "Campbell Bros. Banking, insurance, Loans on Mortgages, Notes & c." Dated Watford, Ont. Jan. 6, 1877. Campbell Bros. are requesting some information relative to a new strain of wheat, price and delivery.

Courtship Letter from Lincoln Goldie to Estelle Bricker. Courtship letter is one page in length, handwritten on one sheet of off-white paper with printed blue letterhead at top of each sheet: "Office of The Peoples Mills, The James Goldie Co. Limited, Proprietors / Guelph, Canada." From Lincoln Goldie who addresses letter to "My Dear Stell." Dated July 28, 1902. This letter is explain that he will be at her house at eight the same day.

2013.39.1 - Plan, Fire Insurance

Very poor condition and should only be handled when absolutely necessary City of Guelph fire insurance plan February 1897 revised to 1907 and then revised again in September 1916. The plan has a black hard cloth cover. The first page has a street index. In the upper right corner there is a blue label that describes the revisions "Surveyed Feb'y 1897 revised to Sept. 1916 new sheets 35 to 38 are added population 16,738 ..." Page 2 is the map of the city with colour coding showing which page each area is shown. There is also a legend showing what each abbreviation or symbol means. Includes wards, street lamps, streets and watermains and properties and landowner names outside the city.

1877 Map of the Town of Guelph with 1890 markings of sewers and watermains surveyed by T.W. Cooper. The map has three illustrations at the top. One of City Hall, one of the Town of Guelph and one of the Court House and Jail. The map has painted red dots to mark water valves and watermains. On the back of the map is written in black pencil "1877 Cooper Map with waterworks system" The map is attached to a wooden dowel at the top and bottom that is painted black. The map is varnished.

Round label for Jas. Goldie Flour. A large circular label for flour. Along the outside there is thick yellow border with dark blue and black borders as well. The yellow border is surrounding a red circle with white text. The text states "Jas. Goldie", "Flour from Manitoba Hard Wheat", and "Guelph Ont". There is a smaller blue circular and rectangular shape that says "196lbs" in white and "Snow Drift" in yellow and orange text. All text is capitalized. The back is blank.

The paper is six sections with the first section mainly covering the day's news and then the following five sections (sections A-E) looking at Guelph's progress and business. Stamp missing. .2-.6 Five page letter to "My Dear Little Girl" from Lincoln Goldie. Handwritten in black ink on cream coloured stationary with printed blue letterhead of "Office of The People's Mills" at the top of each sheet. This is another letter about their love for each other. He writes that if she feels like writing his mother, she should do so as his mother would be happy to receive anything from her.
