Booklet on Guelph's Riverside Park, put out by the Guelph Radial Railway Company of Guelph. Small, rectangular white paper booklet with eleven pages of scenes from Riverside Park with descriptions of the places and activities available to persons visiting Riverside Park. On the back of the booklet is a picture of the Guelph Radial Railway coming down Wyndham Street. The cover has red lettering and a black and white photograph of the park. Letter. Ten page typed carbon copied letter to the Chief Engineer of the Guelph Radial Railway Company. The letter gives the estimate of cost for building an extension of the street railway from Guelph to Hespeler, Puslinch Lake, Elora, and Fergus. The letter also looks into the feasibility of these extensions. The Hespeler line is recommended but the Fergus Elora lines and the Puslinch Line require further study. Streetcars in the foreground with people on them or disembarking from them. Street scene with Wyndham Street buildings and people on the sidewalk, and armoury in background. On reverse side, addressed to Mrs. S.H. Thorne, Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Postmarked Guelph, Ontario Jul 21, 1911. Green one cent stamp with King Edward VII(?). Return address is 447 Elora Road, Guelph. Writing on back mentions receiving a telegram, and visiting MacDonald school and taking a street car to buy some silk for a centrepiece. Signed "Gladys".
