Divided back colour postcard of the interior of Yeates and Thomas Confectionery store 1916. The postcard shows a long white counter with black stools in front. On the counter are two lamps, soda fountains and other accessories. Behind the counter is a wood panelled wall with three mirrors inset into the panelling. Below the mirrors are smaller counters with glasses and bottles on them. Above the wood panelling are paintings of outdoor pastoral scenes. On the back is a quick note written by Mrs. Burton to her daughter Beatrice. There is a Guelph postmark of Oct. 24, 1916 with an ad for the Guelph Winter fair Dec, 1-8, 1916. Printed on the insides of the cover are newspaper clippings and headlines about the Rotary Club. The OAC Review, VOL XVII Issue No. 6, March 1905 The cover is a thick brown paper. The front has a red border and black and red writing.
