It gives a history of the fair over its years, lists the accolades of the past and gives a brief synopsis on Guelph as a centre of manufacture - see page 27 which lists the companies and product made in Guelph. Advertising Letter typed on Louden Machinery Company stationary. Off-white sheet of paper with black printed letterhead, and typed print. At the top of paper is the company letterhead: "LOUDEN MACHINERY COMPANY OF CANADA, LIMITED. / MANUFACTURERS OF INDUSTRIAL OVERHEAD CONVEYING EQUIPMENT / GUELPH." The letter is dated: "April 1st, 1924." and is addressed "Dear Sir," The contents of the letter are typed. The letter advertises Louden Overhead Equipment and lists firms who have benefitted from "Louden efficiency." The letter asks that "If interested, fill in the enclosed card ( see 1977.123.5) and return at once. Yours very truly , Louden Machinery Co. of Canada, Ltd. "

The Letter is typed on off-white paper with black printed company letterhead, Attached to the lower left side of the letter is a brochure advertising Louden Industrial Overhead Conveyor Systems. At the top of letter is the company letterhead: "LOUDEN MACHINERY CO. OF CANADA, LIMITED. / SPECIALISTS IN INDUSTRIAL OVERHEAD CONVEYOR SYSTEMS FOR FACTORIES, MACHINE SHOPS, FOUNDRIES, GARAGES, ETC. / GUELPH, ONT." Advertising Pen & Ink Blotter. Blotter advertises Louden Cow Stanchions. Print side is a rectangular blue paper card with black and red print. On the left side is a black and white sketch of 'Malleable Couplings" installed. 1930 GCVI Acta Nostra Yearbook. The cover is a green textured paper with the title in dark blue. In the centre is a small embossed picture of the school with the latin motto beneath. At the bottom is the date of the yearbook and that it is published by the students of GCVI. The book is filled with essays, artwork, photos etc. of the students of GCVI. There are also ads of local businesses inised. The yearbook is 148 pages in length.

City of Guelph 1929 Fire Insurance Map Book. The ledger is a large red cloth covered book with post binding. The spine has two loops for pulling the book off a shelf. The book of maps was originally compiled in 1922 by the Underwriter's Survey Bureau and then it was revised in 1929. The book is 40 pages with an index at the front. The book has burgundy tabs for each page number but some are missing. The fire insurance plans are divided into different areas and each building is identified in a different colour depending on its construction material. Many of the pages have over pasted areas where something was revised for in 1929.
