The cover has a drawn seal of the Arts association in the upper proper right corner. Along the proper left side there is a drawn "chain" listing the six groups involved in the exhibition. In the middle of the page is "11th Annual Exhibition, the Guelph Creative Arts Association Guelph Armoury November 1958". The paper is incomplete with one section of the Progress Edition missing (Section D). .1 Section 1 of the paper with a blue cover with an image of Guelph with hands superimposed over the image. The title is "1954 Progress edition - The Future of Guelph is in Our Hands". This section covers the news of the day. Pages 1 - 12. .2 Section 2 is a continuation of the news of the day. Includes sections on What to See in College Departments, Day Nursery for Children, Daily Program Schedule, Washroom Accommodation and Special meetings. B/W photographs include a field plot, drat horses and wagon, Johnston Hall, Cloth House and seven cows "Daughters of Millhills Ransom".

The structure is a late Victorian style, asymmetrical red brick building with rectangular windows at top and arched windows at the bottom. There is grass and a driveway. Postcards double-sided with a total of 16 photos including: Wyndham Street, the Circle, the Ontario Reformatory, MacDonald Institute, Ontario Veterinary College, In the grounds of the Ontario Agricultural College, Birthplace of Laura Lemon, a Beauty Spot in Guelph, a picture of the pool at the Ontario Reformatory, the Administration Building of the OAC, the Speed River, Church of Our Lady, John McCrae Memorial, Exhibition Park, a Corner of the Lake Ontario Reformatory.

Ontario Agricultural College 60th Anniversary Booklet, 1934. The booklet is paper with a cardstock cover. On the cover is a picture of Johnston Hall. The inside front cover has a brief history of the College. The rest of the booklet is filled with pictures of the buildings and activities on campus.

"Logo Macdonald Institute" Letterhead dated May 21, 1940. To the War Office in London England from Dietitian O.R. Cruikshank. Recommending Sadie Fletcher as an excellent institutional cook with fine personal standards. Letter is duplicate of 1981.291.65.

The magazine has stories, religious advice columns, announcements and agendas for upcoming events. All inside pages are black print on white paper with red also.
