2005.7.1 - Quilt

Quilt, cotton. Light solid green hexagonal thick borders with trillium in the middle. Interior of hexagon (around trillium) light blue with very small red, white and yellow flowers. Light green hexagon borders have stitching of various Ontario woodland creatures and leaves. Border of quilt same light blue fabric as interior of hexagons. Corners of quilt rounded using two straight cuts (forms angular semicircle). Quilt backing is green fabric with small apples/flowers in brown,blue,white,orange. Stitching is visible on back of quilt. One strip of backing on one side is white (maker may have run out of green fabric.) Three round velcro tabs (for hanging/mounting) on top and bottom of back.

Small silver souvenir spoon with circular metal plate attached to handle. The face of the plate has a white background with text in silver and the Ontario Trillium logo repeated in the middle. There are six trillium in a circle in the middle; five of them are filled in with a blue colour and one at the top has been left plain white. The text reads: "Celebrating Together" - Around the top "1784 Ontario 1984" - Around the bottom
