Front cover: printed in black and red type with red highlights. Has B/W photograph of the Guelph General Hospital in lower right corner. Binding of booklet done by Frank Nunan's Up-to-date Bindery, Upper Wyndham St. Booklet has many advertisements for many different Guelph businesses in 1907.

Civil Engineer,/Montreal" Stamped at the top and bottom of the label is "F. Grundy". It is also stamped 3 times on the inside cover. There are three pieces of paper here: the first is part of the book, "This plan has been revised to" written in pencil "June 1888 & Nov 1892". Catalogue - "Souvenir Catalogue / First Amalgamated Ontario Provincial Winter Fair / Guelph, Dec. 11 to 14, 1900." Cover is heavy purple paper with printed text in gold lettering. There is a double lined gold border around the outside of the front cover. At the bottom of front cover, the border becomes more elaborate with gold swirls. London Assurance Company Fire Insurance Plan for 1881 revised to 1892. The plan is a hard cover book with a brown cloth cover with leather spine and corners. The book has a paper label on the front cover. On the inside front cover there is another paper label from the insurance company. The book contains twelve pages of maps that cover the downtown area of Guelph. On each page the different colour buildings represent the different building materials used. There are sections of the maps that have been overpasted when it was revised.

Very poor condition and should only be handled when absolutely necessary City of Guelph fire insurance plan February 1897 revised to 1907 and then revised again in September 1916. The plan has a black hard cloth cover. The first page has a street index. In the upper right corner there is a blue label that describes the revisions "Surveyed Feb'y 1897 revised to Sept. 1916 new sheets 35 to 38 are added population 16,738 ..." Page 2 is the map of the city with colour coding showing which page each area is shown. There is also a legend showing what each abbreviation or symbol means. Scrapbook that contains a collection of newspaper clippings pertaining to sports, but primarily baseball in Guelph. In particular, a large portion of the articles discuss The Maple Leaf Base Ball Club: their game outcomes, schedules, and standings. Not all clippings are from Guelph newspapers; but there is typically a connection to Guelph. The scrapbook has a green cover with a brown trim on the outer corners and along the binding.
