Colour postcard of the Raymond Manufacturing Company's Machine and moulding shop on Yarmouth Street, postmarked 1912. The postcard shows a three storey grey brick building with a small bell tower in the front centre of the building. Yarmouth street is a dirt road but there is a sidewalk along each side of the street. There are some people walking on the sidewalk and one man sitting against the Raymond building. In the foreground to the right is a high wood fence and a tree. The postcard has been colourized and there is a postmark in the upper left corner. On the back there is a quick note to A.J. Booklet, "Guelphscape 70"...The Field Trip." Don Coulman compiled this 50 page booklet is dated Friday October 24, 1970. This is a photocopy of the original typewritten booklet. The contents are divided into five sections: a map of the field trip route; the field trip programme itself; notes including references; "how it was done"; and "Field trip suggestions." The field trip begins at King George School and covers what was the more historic areas of Guelph and its downtown. A large brown book with maroon spine and tips with a blue label in the centre with black printing. Title reads; "Insurance Plan/of/ Guelph./Ontario./Published by/Chas. E. Goad. Civil Engineer,/Montreal" Stamped at the top and bottom of the label is "F. Grundy". It is also stamped 3 times on the inside cover. There are three pieces of paper here: the first is part of the book, "This plan has been revised to" written in pencil "June 1888 & Nov 1892". "The King's Daughter's Cook Book" Small book with an off white cover. The text on the front cover is orange and describes the title of the cook book. There is a circular leaf and ribbon design in the middle of the front cover. The outer cover is covered in black marks and stains. The inside pages are loose from the spine. There are drawings and black and white photographs, and advertisements through out. There are 246 pages. Between the inside of the front cover and the first page there is a recipe for Ripe Cucumber Pickle. Attached to page 126 there is a handwritten recipe for marmalade. There is a name, Miss Robena Stewart.
