St. George's Church Parochial Magazine for July 1908. Paper magazine, full sheets of paper folded once and stapled to produce booklet. Cover and first few pages are a little thicker than the inside pages. Cover has title, date and black and white photo of St. George's Church with dirt road in foreground. Back cover is covered in advertisements for local Guelph businesses. Both pages inside front cover and inside back cover are also full of advertisements. The magazine has stories, religious advice columns, announcements and agendas for upcoming events. All inside pages are black print on white paper with red also. Advertising booklet; 14 pages detailing the history and operation of the Royal Dairy in Guelph, both with written text, and illustrations and photographs. Page 13 notes that the booklet was put out by "CHAS. YEATES & COMPANY LIMITED / Guelph, Ontario, April 1945". The last page 14 lists those from Guelph on Active Service POW or KIA (World War II). Printed in 1908 for Guelph Home Week and booklet has a programme for the festivities occurring from Sunday to Thursday on pages 6 to 8. On page 54 is an index of the contents of the booklet. It gives a history of the fair over its years, lists the accolades of the past and gives a brief synopsis on Guelph as a centre of manufacture - see page 27 which lists the companies and product made in Guelph. Held at the Royal Canadian Cafe on January 21st, 1913. .2 - Folder - Cream coloured parchment paper with City of Guelph crest printed in gold on front.
