Program for the Guelph College Figure Skating Club's Rhapsody on Ice, Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16, 1963. Gold cover paper program with black line drawing of a woman figure skater on front. The program is for the 1963 Rhapsody on Ice event put on by the Guelph College Figure Skating Club. The program cost 25 cents. The event was held March 15-16 and had five acts with a total of 34 demonstrations. The book has a few black and white photos and several advertisements. "Price 25c" "Rhapsody on Ice 1963 ..." Advertising Postcard; on one side, a colour picture of a woman juggling two large hat boxes. She is wearing a blue dress, yellow shoes and a green and yellow hat with a large pink bow. On the back is a message from G.B. Ryan and Co. advertising their formal opening of the Fall Style Millinery Ladies' Garments. The card is addressed to Mrs. H. Mitchell of Everton. Stamped with a green one cent Canada Post Stamp in upper right corner. Stamped: "GUELPH ONTARIO / SEP 11 / 2.30 PM / 1912" Printed in black: "Formal Opening Fall Style Millinery Ladies' Garments Dress Goods and Silks Thursday Sept. Twelfth and continued for a week. Invoice; White with blue print. Pertinent information filled in with black ink. The top two-thirds of the invoice provides information on who was sold to and the business sold from. The rest of the invoice is lined and divided into 10 vertical columns of various widths by red and blue lines. This portion of the invoice lists the items sold. "PAID SEP 28 1901 G.B. Ryan & Co PER..." is stamped onto the center of the invoice. There are two small holes punched into the top of the invoice. In the middle of the coupon is a rectangular grey space that indicates what the coupon is for. The pattern is on both sides of the coupon. St. George's Church Parochial Magazine for September 1894. Paper magazine, full sheets of paper folded and stapled once to produce booklet. Dated September, 1894. Title is "St. George's Church Parochial Magazine". Black and white throughout with lithographs, drawings and copies of paintings. Inside are stories regarding their faith and the cover lists clergy members, church scheduling daily and the calendar for September events. Front cover is missing. Back cover inside and outside has advertisements for various businesses in Guelph. There is no huge headline but some of the front page stories are :"Eight will hav to be left at home" "Hood and Benallick Moving Today" "Christmas At The Children's Shelter Was A Great Event - Friends Had Given Freely". The paper has a photo of a ploughing scene in late December in Alberta. The paper is six pages (three double sided).
