Booklet, "Guelphscape 70"...The Field Trip." Don Coulman compiled this 50 page booklet is dated Friday October 24, 1970. This is a photocopy of the original typewritten booklet. The contents are divided into five sections: a map of the field trip route; the field trip programme itself; notes including references; "how it was done"; and "Field trip suggestions." The field trip begins at King George School and covers what was the more historic areas of Guelph and its downtown. City of Guelph Water Meter Reading Ledger, 1927-1933. The ledger is hand held in size and has a thick front and back hard cover covered in a dark brown canvas. Inside are receipt style pages with blue and pink lines. The book contains a page for each business in Guelph using water. The top of the page lists the name of the company and address and below is the size of the water pipe and the rent for the meter. Below that is the meter reading for the site done approximately 5 times a year.

Hardcover ledger book from an unidentified Guelph grocery store, 1897. The book is 398 pages long. Each page is dedicated to a different person and gives an itemized list of food and other items purchased as well as price and payment. Some people have multiple pages dedicated to their purchases throughout the book. The spine and corners of the front and back covers are covered with tan coloured leather. Also on the spine "Journal" is printed in gold against a maroon background. Specific Guelph streets and notable people are mentioned throughout: Page 27 - Liverpool Street Page 38 - Arnold Street Page 42 - Dublin Street Page 49 - Liverpool Street Page 54 - Geo. The locations of all the streets in Guelph are listed. Dated 1955. "Proposed Street Name Changes after 1956" can be viewed on page 103. Guelph Horticultural Society Festival of Flowers Program 1967. The festival was held at the Memorial Gardens August 24, 25 and 26. It was an official Canadian Centennial Event. The program is six pages long, stapled in the middle and printed on white paper with black text. Most of the program is a detailed list of the various categories of entry in the competition under the multiple classes (Class A, B, C, D and E). On pages three and four there is some handwritten text in red ink along the margins.
