Receipt / Statement from St. Joseph's Hospital. Issued to Mr. Spalding and dated June 23rd, 1922. Bill for surgery and a six day stay in the hospital came to a total of $25.00". Paid $22.00 in cash with a balance due of $3.00, which was marked paid in full "Nov. 30th." Beige, rectangular paper receipt with black printing on top giving the city and the name of the hospital. In black ink the date and client are filled in . Below this in black and blue ink is the description of the charges and the date when paid in full. On the back Mr. Spalding signed his name. "JUNE 23, 1922. MR. SPALDING TO BOARD AND ATTENDANCE. 6 DAYS, $350, 2100, OPERATING ROOM FEES 400, 25.00, 22.00, 3.00 - BY CASH BAL
