The YMCA-YWCA logo is printed in red, white & blue in the top left corner, from which a set of three red lines extends down to the centre of the page, across the middle, and down to the bottom on the right hand side. Activity Schedule for the YMCA for the fall and winter season, 1955-56. Small yellow paper rectangular fold out. It folds out into three sections. The front cover has "Keep Handy for Ready Reference" at the top in small black printing. It states that it is the Fall and winter activity schedule and gives the YMCA logo. (red triangle, upside down, with a black rectangle through it saying YMCA) It gives the address and phone number of the YMCA. The back cover has a list of "Membership Fees Yearly" in red printing and the list underneath is in black printing. Also on the back are a list of the YMCA officials in black printing. Street Guide for City of Guelph, 1955. A small book listing streets, businesses etc. The exterior cover is blue and the interior is cream coloured paper with black ink. Printed on cover in blue print: Guelph Coat of Arms with text::" ..City of Guelph.. Street Guide / Price 35 cents". On page 3, it notes that this street guide "is sponsored by the Guelph Police Association 1955 with the support of our advertisers. / (COPYRIGHT) trademark of Typographical Union Label, Guelph." Program, "Guelph Centennial Old Home Week Official Programme, August 1-6, 1927". Rectangular pale yellow paper cover, stapled, with black printed lettering. City Crest is on front cover. Inside pages are off-white with printed black text and b/w pictures of various public buildings and sites in Guelph. Contains a schedule of events for each day of Old Home Week, as well as small essays about the past and present history of Guelph. Included are two poems: "Guelph - Our Heritage" by Anne Sutherland; and "In Flanders Fields" by Lt. Col. John McCrae. As well there are numerous commercial advertisements placed by Guelph businesses. Letter from the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, which lists some "Points on Guelph". The letter is dated July 1966 and there is no name indicating to whom the letter is addressed. There is also a blank to fill in the date of the inquiry. This is a form letter prepared "in response to" any inquiries made to the Chamber regarding Guelph. Rectangular white paper that has been typed in black lettering. The letter is signed in blue ink but cannot decipher the name. At the top of the letter: "POINTS ON GUELPH - GUELPH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE / July 1966." Green single sheet, black print, double sided, folded program for the "SO-ED Club Guelph." Cover has photo of the Y.M.C.A in the center and the words "Announcing The Winter SO-ED Club" above and "Every Thursday Evening from Feb. 3 to Mar. 23, 1944, Registration at 7:30 p.m. February 3" below. Inside of program is a breakdown of evening events for all eight nights including guest speakers, crafts and dance lessons, with the names of all involved in the aforementioned activities. Back cover lists the SO-ED Executive and General Committee as well as fees and admittance instructions.

This poster consists of two pieces. The first piece has a blue-coloured box, centered and filled-in as the background. Around there is white trim. Inside the blue box is a printed illustration of a white polar bear standing on a block of ice. The polar bear is facing the left side of the poster. Above the polar bear there is a title in large font, that is red with yellow outline. The title says "KING BROS. CIRCUS". Under the title, but above the polar bear, on the left side, there is a piece of blue tape that is covering text from the title. A program and advertising booklet for the King Brothers Circus in Guelph on Friday June 17 1955. The front cover is a full colour collage illustration featuring the many animals and attractions at a circus. Inside are advertisement for the different acts in the circus as well as a couple of articles on specific acts and some specific advertisements about events. The colour on the pages alternate between navy blue and brown for the pictures and text.
