Print of a black and white photograph that has been coloured. Image of a long dining room, many tables and chairs with tables set. Fireplace and mantle along left wall, chandeliers on ceiling. Reverse side has writing printed in green, and hand-writing in black. Stamp on right upper corner, green, one cent. Postage stamp is black, dated Oct. 16, 1912. Illustrations: Printed On front, "Banquet Room, Yeates & Thomas, Guelph, Ont." On reverse: Post mark: "Guelph Ontario/ Oct 16/2:30 pm/ 1912" "Yeates and Thomas Confectionary Store/ Guelph, Ont." printed in green. Hand-writing very hard to read.

Divided back colour postcard of the interior of Yeates and Thomas Confectionery store 1916. The postcard shows a long white counter with black stools in front. On the counter are two lamps, soda fountains and other accessories. Behind the counter is a wood panelled wall with three mirrors inset into the panelling. Below the mirrors are smaller counters with glasses and bottles on them. Above the wood panelling are paintings of outdoor pastoral scenes. On the back is a quick note written by Mrs. Burton to her daughter Beatrice. There is a Guelph postmark of Oct. 24, 1916 with an ad for the Guelph Winter fair Dec, 1-8, 1916. Book, "The Rotary Club of Guelph, 1920-1970"; Yellow soft cover book with blue print on the cover. The back of the book has two black and white photographs of the interior of the Kandy Kitchen / Yeates &Thomas. The book was published for the Rotary Club's Golden Anniversary Year, 1970. Printed on the insides of the cover are newspaper clippings and headlines about the Rotary Club. The book contains a list of Rotary Club presidents, a complete membership roll from 1920-1970, a brief history and a "rotary reader" highlighting the early members of the club, Rotary International.
