Description Colour slide of Lieutenant Governor Pauline McGibbon and Mayor Norm Jary at Riverside Park. Someone holds an umbrella over the head of the Lieutenant Governor, who is wearing a blue raincoat and black gloves. Mayor Jary walks behind her, wearing a grey coat and brown hat. Crowds watch from either side. McGibbon came to Riverside Park to plant a memorial tree commemorating Guelph's birthday, using the same spade that planted the memorial tree in 1927.
