Description Black and white slide of the Taylor-Forbes building, on the site of Allan's Distillery on the east side of the Speed River. This building eventually becomes part of W.C. Wood Co. later in the 20th Century. Viewed from the CNR overpass, the building is made of stone, has a short tower at the right side, and two tall smoke stacks. Across the top of the building in large letters "Taylor Forbes Co." is written. The CPR rail tracks are visible in the foreground, in front of the building.
