A booklet titled "A Century of Care and Concern: Guelph General Hospital. The booklet contains a brief history of Guelph and gives a detail history of the hospital from 1875 to 1974.
The front cover of the booklet is red with the black and white photograph of the new hospital building and a black image of the original hospital building. The back cover has three black and white photographs displayed at top. The first photograph at the top has two men escorting a patient in a hospital bed leaving an ambulance. The second photograph has a nurse holding a baby. The third photograph shows two doctors and a nurse performing surgery. At the bottom of the back cover there is a black and red drawing of a women in bed surrounded by two men and five women. The image appears be from the Victorian period. The inside of the booklet has numerous black and white photographs and images of Guelph, the Guelph General hospital buildings, medical staff, and patients dating from 1875 to1975.
The chapters are titled: "The Year was 1872", "The Twenties", Thirties", "The Forties", "The Fifties & Sixties", and "Seventies".
