Description |
Program, light beige paper. Printing in black ink. Double line border around all printed pages. Cover has Guelph crest and "CITY OF GUELPH" below it. In calligraphic writing: "Memorial Service / in memory of / his Late Majesty / King George V. / Collegiate Auditorium / Tuesday, January 28th, 1936 / at eleven o'clock a. m.". In italic writing at bottom: "His Worship, Harry Mahoney / Mayor". the inside of the booklet has the order of service including opening sentences, two minutes of silence, hymn, the Lesson, hymn, prayer, hymn. The back of the booklet continues the order of service including an address, hymn, the dead march in 'Saul', God Save the King, The Benediction. At the bottom the officiating ministers (G.F. Scovil, A.J. MacGillivray, and W. J. Gallagher) are listed. |
