Pamphlet commemorating St. James' Church Golden Jubilee, 1890 -1940. Single sheet of off-white paper folded in half to form a four page pamphlet. Black printed text. Front page: "St. James' Church / Guelph, Ontario / 1890 1940 / Golden Jubilee". Center of program, on the left half is a statement of church's heritage with a b/w photograph of the church at the extreme left side. On the right half, entitled "Our Opportunity", addresses the various means to commemorate the jubilee. In addition to special services and meeting, they suggest the erection of a special memorial in the church, as well as raise a fund "to retire" all debts standing against the church and its properties. Back page lists the names of those persons serving on the "Golden Jubilee Committee": Honourary and Advisory Members; and Active Members. |
