Description
A yearbook from the Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1962. The cover of the book is beige with gold coloured text. The text on the cover reads "Manu Cordeque", which means "Hands and Hearts" in Latin. The school's emblem is displayed in the center. The design of the emblem includes a maroon cross with a gold circle in the center. Inside the circle the text reads: "Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing".
Inside the yearbook there is black and white photographs of the school's faculty and students. The Florence Nightingale Pledge and a typed message from the Director of Nursing is in the beginning of the yearbook. Personal quotes, poems, and graduation photos of students is printed in the middle. School events and advertisement from the yearbook's sponsors in printed in the back of the yearbook.
On the bottom of the front cover there is the numbers 0108-02, which is handwritten in pencil. These numbers represent the old catalogue number from the Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association.
