A typed copy of the brief description of the ceremony for the Guelph General Hospital Victoria Jubilee Wing. At the top of the first page the title reads: "Copy of Material Filed in Corner-Stone of New School December 10, 1957". The first half of the first page details the corner stone being laid infront of officials. The remaining of the page list the names of the Board of Trustees and Directors for the Guelph General Hospital. The second page list the names of the contractors that worked on the building. The document is two pages in length. December 10, 1957 is the date that the new GGH School of Nursing had it's official opening. The old hospital building and the Victoria Jubilee Wing, which were built on the same site were already demolished. |
