Go to Media section to view film. 8mm roll of film of an OAC student parade in Guelph. The film is 1 minute and 9 seconds long and starts with a brief view of Talbot street and some of the trees that are changing colour. The footage then shows the front entrance of Johnston Hall and then the parade. The parade shows marching women in matching sweaters and skirts followed by a marching band, there are then cars filled with people including cheerleaders. There are larger floats with students on them all with various themes relating to being "Aggies" or being at the OAC. The parade passes along Gordon Street, Carden Street and Wyndham Street. The reel is grey plastic with a white label on one side with "Guelph Fall Colours and OAC and Parade" written in pen and on the other side is a white label with the mailing label for Doug Pruss. |
