Description |
Calendar, paper advertising calendar of a young woman in a yellow dress, holding a bouquet of yellow roses. The young woman has very long brown hair fastened at the nape of the neck with a vine and yellow roses. She is framed by a Greek or Roman style building with ionic columns, a Metope and a pediment. The building is draped in grape vines. Below this is a blue rectangle, printed in blue ink : "COMPLIMENTS OF R. H. BARBER/ THE LEADING PAPER HANGER, HOUSE PAINTER/ SIGN WRITER, GRAINER DECORATOR, ETC. / GUELPH, ONT. / Estimates Cheerfully Furnished / Office, St. George's Square, P.O. Box 2/ Phone 271." Stapled to the bottom is a green paper calendar with white numbers and letters. First page: "JANUARY 1904". Image is embossed. |
