Front cover shows half the Canadian flag in red and white and reads "Royalaires Drum and Bugle Corps - 1973; souvenir programme 50 cents." Back cover is a full page advertisement for Ponderosa Steak House. Every other page of program, as well as inside front and back covers are dedicated to advertisements for Guelph businesses. First page a welcoming message by the event coordinator, the second page explains how the event is judged, a history of the Royalaires is provided on the fifth page. Pages 9, 11, 16, 19, 21 provide a description of the out of town corps that also competed. In the center of the program is a scorecard which can be filled out by the visitor. The last two pages are a list of names of people who fiscally supported the Royalaires in 1973.
