Postcard from Guelph, Ontario to Waterloo, Ontario, postmarked Jul 2 1908. Published by W.G. MACFARLANE PUBLISHER, TORONTO, BUFFALO. The front of the postcard features a view of Guelph General Hospital, Delhi St. The second empire style building has a mansard roof, bay windows, decorative cresting etc. The hospital is partially hidden by trees. There are tennis nets on the lawn in front of the building. The image is captioned "General Hospital, Guelph" in white text printed along the lower left. The message written on the back in black ink reads: " Dear Friend Your cars received to-day and delighted to heaar from you. Had a letter from Arno to-day also have to write him a letter soon. Good Bye Emma Aus." Addressed to "Mr. Emil Czerurnoki, Park Ave., Waterloo, Ont." The postmark reads "Jul 2 1908" at "7 pm" and is stamped in black ink on the back. |
