Postcard titled "First House in Guelph, Now C.P.R. Station Guelph Ont.", published by C. Anderson & Company and Warwick Brothers & Rutter, unknown date. The front of the postcard features a greyscale photograph with colourized elements of the C.P.R. Station in Guelph, Ontario. A large stone and wood building sits on a small hill overlooking several sets of railroad tracks. A smooth raised concrete platform is situated above the tracks. Two sets of steep stairs lead up to the structure. A tall thin ladder leans against the side of the station. A sign over the front entranceway reads 'GUELPH" The image is captioned in black text printed along the bottom of the postcard as "First House In Guelph, Now C.P.R. Station, Guelph, Ont." The back of the postcard is blank. |
