The glossy colour postcard is from Guelph,Ont to London, England postmarked 30Mar1917. The front of the postcard features a bird's eye view of Guelph from Grange St. Towers not yet on Church of Our Lady. The image is captioned "Birds Eye View of Guelph, Ont., Canada" in red text printed at the top right hand corner. The message written on the back in black ink reads: Dear Abie, We are at "Collinwood" just for a few days and enjoying it as always. Nell is much better. [illegible] It is addressed to "Mrs Norman Wallace Sun Life of Canada 485 Norfolk St. Strand London England". The postmark reads "Guelph Ontario, 30Mar1917" at "6pm" and is stamped in black ink on the back. |
