A diploma that belonged to Joan Patricia Shoaff, whom graduated from Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. The top of the diploma has the nursing school's emblem. The design of the emblem includes a gold cross with a circle in the center. Inside the circle the inscription reads "Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing". The text of the diploma is in black ink. The diploma transcribed: School for Nurses Guelph General Hospital Established 1888 Non Nobis Sed Aliis This is to certify that Joan Patricia Shoaff has completed a Three Years Course in Medical, Surgical, Obstetrical and Paediatric Nursing and has passed the required examinations.
