Invoice; Invoice from Henry Vernon's for copying a Guelph Directory. Store information listed along the top third of the invoice. The bottom is separated by red and blue lines into eight columns and is lined. Description of service acquired and the price are written along the top line in ink. The rest of the lined area is mostly filled with the words "Paid Vernon" written in pencil. Invoice is addressed to W.H. Sanders to advertise and purchase a copy of the Guelph Directory. Dated July 16, 1901. First third of invoice, " 138 MARY STREET"," Hamilton, Ont. July 16th 1901", " WH Sanders Esq", "IN ACCOUNT WITH...", "HENRY VERNON,", "PUBLISHER OF THE FOLLOWING DIRECTORIES", "City of Hamilton, Annually, $2.50. City of Guelph, Biennially, 2.00. City of Stratford, " $2.00, City of Chatham " $2.00, City of St. Catharines, $2.00. Galt, Hespeler and Preston, $2.00. Berlin and Waterloo $2.00. Owen Sound, $2.00.
