Paper magazine "The Web" written for and by the Associates of Zephyr Looms and Textiles October 1943. The cover has "Web" written at an angle in big block letters and below a photo of Mrs. Ella Ireland handing over a packsack - the 50 millionth piece of web equipment to be manufactured by Zephyr Looms. Inside, the magazine has articles on what is going on around the plant, the girl's baseball team results and company sponsors, military support and weddings and announcements. The back page (8) lists the names of men and women that are enlisted with His Majesty's Services in the war, and ask their employees to please write.
The tall gentleman, second from the left (holding box) in the picture on the front cover is Mewell Garfield, part of the US side of the company. Mr. Garfield was the grandson of US president James Garfield.
