Description |
Photograph of the Crown Attorney's Office at 25-27 Douglas Street. The photograph is taken from the front left of the building, and shows part of the street and the full driveway. The building is made of yellow brick and limestone, and has two full storeys in addition to at least two gables. The ground floor has a central front door with three steps with black railings leading up to it, a window above, and two windows on either side. The door also has a plaque next to it, and has a lantern-style light on either side. To the left, there is what appears to be an additional door, set in a corner alcove in the building, which is supported by a brick and stone pillar. There are stone arches leading to the alcove, and over the central front door. The second storey has asymmetrical windows on the facade, with two groups of two windows and one single window, all arched. There are two gables above this which are made of brick, and have limestone decoration. There are two windows visible on the side wall, and there is a chimney visible above this. The large shadow of a tree is cast on the building's side wall, and in front of the house are a parking metre, two large pebbledash or cement flower boxes, a lamppost, and two hanging flower baskets. |
