Description |
A black and white photograph of the Guelph Centennial Parade. In the photograph there is two men driving an open horse and buggy down the street. The two men are dressed nicely and one wears a top hat and the other a bowler hat. In the back sit several people shaded by parasols. The photograph is described as a Burlesque of the first wedding. Men women and children are lined up and down both sides of the street along with their automobiles in order to watch this comic display. The back of the photograph says that it is"A Burlesque of the first wedding, one of many comics". The writing on the back also states that the photograph is from the Guelph Centennial Parade Mon. Aug. 1, 27. There is a stamp of the number 58 on the reverse also as well as the word Velox. |
