Black and white cabinet photograph of Carden Street, circa 1905. The photograph shows the north side of Carden Street, looking toward Gordon Street. Both the Church of Our Lady and the Central School are visible on the skyline. Albion Hotel and stables are visible on Macdonell Street. Shops of both J. Doran and William Sunley are on Gordon Street. Several shops are also on Carden Street, which appears unpaved. Street car tracks run on Carden Street and turn south on Gordon Street, however no overhead wires for the street cars are visible. The photograph is adhered to a grey mount. |
