Black and white arerial photograph of the Eastern side of City of Guelph, taken by Airmaps Limited dated 8 July 1931. The photograph shows York Road running diagonally from upper left to lower right of the frame. Victoria Road runs from lower left, intersecting with York Road at right edge of the image. The tracks of the Canadian Pacific Railway are visible on the Right side middle running to the left. Stevenson Street runs from the Right side South to York Road. Alice Street runs West off Stevenson Street Left to the large Northern Rubber building at the corner of Metcalfe Street (now Huron) and Alice Street. The Black Stand Pipe is very visible on the Right side near the Canadian National Railway tracks which are visible in the top Right side, and the twin towers of the Church of Our Lady are prominent near the top of the photograph. On the Right side are the International Malleable Iron Co. Ltd. on Beverly Street running Right off Stevenson Street and next to it is the Guelph Stove Company at the corner of York and Victoria Roads.
