Black and white aerial photograph of Woodlawn Cemetery, circa 1945. The photograph was taken by Raeburn Reid of Reid Flying Service. The photograph shows Woodlawn Cemetery and surrounding open country side, bounded by the Canadian Pacific Railway line, running from the left side to the top right corner, Woodlawn Road, running from the right middle to the top near middle right, and Woolwich Street, running from the left side straight across to the right side. New area with a circular feature garden in the centre on the left side of cemetery, has roads laid but only young trees with an entrance to Woolwich Street. Visible in the bottom of the photograph are houses facing Woolwich Street and a few houses are visible facing Woodlawn Road. The Mausoleum is visible among the circle of trees on the right side middle and the Cutten large white monument is visible below near the the middle on the right side. Written in pencil on reverse: "41" |
