Description |
This black and white photograph is a image of a float from the Guelph Centennial Parade. The float seen is from the post office and bears a sign saying "The Post Office Serves the World." Also on the float is a globe and an unknown building to signify the vast expanses the post office serves. Standing on the lawn in front of the float are two men, two women and a group of children. They appear to be watching the parade much like the crowds lining the opposite side of the street. The reverse of the photograph is labelled "Centennial Parade. Mon. Aug 1, 27. Post Office." |
