Photograph of the aftermath of Hurrican Hazel on Simpson's Mill (formally Speedvale Mill and Pipe's Mill). On the reverse, it says: "1954 The results of Hurricane Hazel at Simpsons old Mill. Note: The pavillion and the old House where the Fire Station is now located." The white large building on the right side of the photograph is presumbly the pavilion and house. There is a Coca-Cola fridge beside the building. In front of the building is a flooded street. The water is rushing quite quickly near the center of the photograph. There is also a wood pole in the center of the photograph. |
