Description |
Colour slide of a black and white photo of the view of Guelph from the Grove Street hill. In the foreground are two cars on a slightly curved road. The area in front of the CPR Railway and the Speed River appears residential with many houses. After the railroad, which has many train cars on it, the landscape becomes increasingly industrial/commercial with less houses and more buildings. The tallest point on the horizon is Church of our Lady, roughly center of photo, with the rectory visible on its left and the Loretto Convent on its right. In the left of the photo is another tall building with a water tower on top. |
