Description |
Digital image of Quebec Street West in 1874. The image was taken from a Guelph newspaper. The image shows Chalmers Church on the right and the steeple of Knox Church farther down. Just in front of Chalmers, is a portion of the LaFontaine bank house attached to the Bank of Montreal. On the south side of the street are several small buildings. There are sidewalks on both sides of the street and there is a lamp post and hitching post on the right side. |
