Black and white slide transparency of a photograph of the Guelph Maple Leafs Baseball Team and George Sleeman, originally taken in 1874. The baseball players and George Sleeman are assembled into three row. George Sleeman, wearing a black suit, is seated in the centre of the assembled group. Nine uniformed baseball players sit or stand around Sleeman. Several players are holding baseball bats. The uniforms consist of white or pale-coloured shirt and pants, with argyle socks, a dark belt and a shield-shaped crest covering the chest. The crest has a dark-coloured patterned border and a maple leaf in the middle. The players are identified as: Back Row (standing, LtoR): Robert Emery (Centre Field), W.
