Black and white aerial view of downtown Guelph, circa 1950. The photograph shows Eramosa Road bridge crossing the Speed River at bottom left hand corner, beside the Canadian Pacific Railway to the Right. The view is looking along Wyndham Street to the South and ending top of the photograph passing through St. George's Square. Wellington Hotel is visible on the Left corner of Wyndham and Woolwich Street which runs from the Left middle side to the bottom Right. The Royal Opera House is visible on the Right corner across fromTrafalgar Square and cenotaph which is in the bottom of the frame. On the reverse: Stamped in black ink "Post Card Made in U.S.A. Correspondence Address" and in top Right corner "Place stamp Here" |
