Photograph of a photo of J. Hugo Reed's Guelph Veterinary infirmary and James Palmer's Livery on Woolwich street. In the photo there is a man holding a horse steady in front of the vet hospital and there is a man, possibly James Palmer, in a buggy pulled by a horse, in front of the livery. The Veterinary Infirmary is a two storey stone building with large barn doors at the front. Palmer's Livery is a two storey building with windows across the top floor and a large barn door at the front on the main floor. On the back, in pencil, is "Dr. J. reed Veterinary Surg 183 Woolwich St. J. Palmer Livery Stable 185 Woolwich St. 1888" On the back of the photo is a black stamp "F. Grundy". |
