This slide depicts members of the St. Joseph's Hospital and Home for the Aged seated in the back of the George Milla Construction Ltd. pick-up truck. There is a big yellow sign in the back of the truck with the name and date of construction of the hospital on it, there is a Guelph 150 flag on the front, and along the sides of the track are orange ribbons. The members are all dressed in period clothing, with the women wearing extravagant dresses and hats and each of the members have a yellow ribbon on their chests. Paradegoers stand and sit along Wyndham Street and the Wyndham Street Bridge to the left, and the Harding Carpet Factory to the right. |
