Description |
Black and white post card of Exhibition Park. The front shows a photo of a crowd of people looking away from the camera. There are four men standing on an elevated platform in the middle of the crowd. The Crystal Palace building is visible in the background. The photo only covers part of the postcard, a 1inch strip on the right side is black as well as a thin strip along the top edge. BACK: "Post Card" is printed along the top edge. There is a vertical line in the centre, with "Correspondence" on the left and "Name and Address" on the right. There is a stamp in the top right corner that reads "Place Postage Stamp Here". There is a Guelph Historical Society stamp and "Station in Guelph, about 1889" written in blue pen on the back. The back side print is reversed, meaning that it appears upside down compared to the front image. |
