Colour slide of the dedication of Heritage Park, at the site of the former Allan's Mill. A crowd gathers around a boy wearing a blue jacket who is digging a hole with a shovel in preparation for the planting of a tree in commemoration of the new park. John Rodd is in the centre, facing the camera. He wears a black jacket and pants. Allan's Mill was demolished in 1975, but remains of the wall and machinery were kept and integrated into the new park. |
