Description |
Colour slide transparency of Macdonell Street in 1976. Various buildings and businesses are on either side of the street leading to a view of the front of the Church of Our Lady. In the left of the photograph amongst the businesses is Acker Furniture Company with a vertical sign and the Regent Hotel in the five storey stone building on the right. In the right of the photo among the businesses is Elk's Men's and Boys' Wear with a sign painted on the side of its building, and next to it to the right, across the municipal parking lot, is the Home Furniture Company with a vertical sign. There are light posts lining both sidewalks, cars and a truck parked on the both sides of the street, a bus driving on the street, and two people on opposite sides walking on the street. |
