Description |
Oblong octagonal shaped hat box, covered in yellow coloured paper with black details with diagonal sides longer than flat sides. Lid .1 and Box .2 have same detailing on all flat sides and all diagonal sides, except for the front panel on the box bottom which also includes a measurement chart. The flat sides of the lid say "Biltmore" while the diagonals have the slogan "The Master Hat of Canada." All sides on bottom say same thing but logo and name are reversed in location, flat sides logo is at the top while diagonal sides "Biltmore" is at the top. Inside the box are hat form rings to secure and help stored hat maintain its shape (.6-.7). These forms are flat pieces of board shaped like the box with an opening in the center that another thicker ring of cardboard runs along to make the support frame. In addition to this there are three cardboard rings at the base of the box, which would have been used to elevate the cardboard forms previously mention (.3-.5). |
